===== Resist Spell* =====
**LP, Defense (Smart, Resist), Species**

**Trigger:** You are affected by any attack using the [[Spell qualifier]] (any delivery method)

To use this ability, you must call “[[Resist]]” when struck by the triggering effect.

This Skill does not allow you to Resist [[arcane qualifier|arcane delivered]] effects, formal [[Ritual Magic]], or any other effect not delivered by the [[Spell qualifier]]. It does allow you to Resist an incanted spell, since those implicitly use the [[Spell qualifier]].

Each purchase of this Skill also increases the character’s [[maximum Body Points]] by one.
