**LP, Defense (Smart, Guard)**

**Trigger:** You are hit with a [[Weapon qualifier]] attack or [[poison qualifier|Poison]] Attack that uses [[physical delivery]].

You may call “[[Evade]]” to the trigger allowing you to negate the effect.

You may use this once per LP per purchase.

It does not protect against [[area effect traps]] or [[Killing Blow|Killing Blows]]. Evade cannot be used if you are completely immobilized, such as when under the effect of a [[Web]] or even simply being tied up.
